The Windows Media Thespian Plugin module is designed to operate within Windows Media Histrion™ version 12 (upwards to 9). It enables a user to cut or edit out a function of media file directly from Windows Media Role player™ at loftier speed without quality degradation and bug with audio/video synchronization.

Enabling WMP Trimmer plugin

Launch Windows Media Role player.
Click primary menu item «Tools->Plug-ins->SolveigMM WMP Trimmer Plugin»

If principal menu of Windows Media Histrion is switched off follow steps shown on Figure 2.

Trimming media files

Trimming media files is easy and straightforward. Trimmer'south GUI controls are shown in Figure 3.

The operations society for trimming mediafile is listed beneath.

1. Open your media file in usual mode via Windows Media Thespian menu (Figure 6a) or use "Open Media File" push button of WMP Trimmer Plugin (Figure 6b).

2. Click the "Edit File" push button of Plugin (Effigy 7).

3. Yous will meet the expanded view of Plugin. Utilise slider and markers to set the showtime and stop fourth dimension positions of the fragments you lot would like to save.

To marking the beginning of the fragment navigare the slider to the desired position and click the "Add together marker" push. Do the same to mark the end time position of the fragment

If you would like to save several fragments to the output file use the same operation: move the slider to the desired position of outset and terminate time of the necessary fragments and click the "Add marker" button.

You can employ mouse wheel to modify the scale of timeline for convenience and to easily find the needed frame of finish/commencement.

four. At present it is necessary to marker fragments you would like to be cut out from the output video file. Move the slider to such fragment. Then click the "Cut Out Selected Fragment" button.
